Building a Custom Coastal Home with Space, Privacy & Lifestyle
Nestled on one of Newport’s most exclusive streets, this Morna Street residence showcases the thought, precision, and care that define every Resi Homes project. Designed to balance coastal living with privacy and long-term liveability, the home was crafted with light-filled open-plan interiors, seamless indoor–outdoor flow, and refined finishes throughout.
From the outset, the project required careful consideration of the block’s generous 682m² size, ensuring the home maximised space without compromising its leafy, tranquil setting. Attention to detail guided every decision, from orientation and natural light to materials and bespoke features such as the designer kitchen with butler’s pantry, integrated storage solutions, and premium appliances. The floor plan was meticulously planned to cater to modern family life, providing functional living areas, flexible bedrooms, a separate study nook, and multiple entertaining zones.
Outdoors, the home required a cohesive design that would complement the interiors while supporting entertainment and lifestyle needs. The pool, undercover dining area, and outdoor kitchen were carefully integrated with sightlines from living zones, creating spaces that feel open yet intimate. Secure access, side entry for vehicles, and landscaping were all coordinated to meet practical requirements while enhancing the property’s presentation.
